- Amends the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997 to reclassify certain employers
- Employers operating residential care facilities become Schedule 1 employers under the Act
- This includes retirement homes, rest homes and senior citizens' residences
- Employers operating group homes are also made Schedule 1 employers
- Applies to both public and private employers in these industries
- The Act takes effect six months after receiving Royal Assent
- Short title is the WSIB Coverage for Workers in Residential Care Facilities and Group Homes Act, 2025
