Marriage Amendment Act, 2025

- Amends the Marriage Act to let members of the Legislative Assembly solemnize marriages under a licence
- Members must give written notice to the Minister to gain this authority
- The authority continues for 12 months after the person stops being a member of the Assembly
- The Act takes effect on the day it receives Royal Assent
