- Amends the Taxation Act, 2007 to reduce income tax for young individuals
- Sets the lowest income tax rate amount to $0 for individuals under age 27
- Applies to taxation years ending after December 31, 2026
- Age is determined as of the first day of the taxation year
- The tax exception automatically repeals five years after Royal Assent unless the Assembly renews it
- The Assembly must pass a new resolution every five years to keep the exception in force
- Known as the Fair Start for Young Workers Act, 2026
